The genocide in Ukraine was planned systematic and predetermined.

Long before the atrocities in occupied regions of Kyiv oblast became the public knowledge the indication Russia is conducting systematic and predetermined genocide was known since the day one. First indication came when locals at Sumy started to report of Russian army combatants opening fire on civilians on the street.

Head of Mykolaev region Vitaly Kim on early March reported in some of the occupied villages the occupational forces went straight to seek for ATO veterans (2014-2022 war veterans). Seeing in the village local school a wall of commemoration fallen and living ATO veterans the occupiers went to claim them. Later they executed the veterans at the forest edge. Unknown how but one of them managed to escape wounded. The details Vitaly Kim provides are always generalization but precise, thus there are no other indication. What has been known the same pattern has been taking place in other occupied territories where the clear intent is elimination of the former adversaries.

That serves two goals – revenge and extermination of future combatant. There have been also indications the same treatment has been applied to the current territorial defence unit members who have been caught.

The episode of such horrendous treatment has taken place in Kyiv region during the 33-day long occupation. The fact they carried out at such horrendous level explicitly indicates this was planned as system and predetermined.

The village Babyntsi is a village in Western Kyiv oblast twice the distance of Irpin-Bucha-Hostomel. It’s located not far awa from Borodyanka that got under most of Russian army attacks by artillery and air raids. The fact Russian army settled into a local town 50km from Kyiv and started to lookup and process the persons of interest clearly shows everything was methodical and planned.

The atrocities committed Violeta Dashkova describes are reported by other in various regions but this is first time that was provided by first hand witness based in on the experience of their relatives.

Violeta Dashkova:

“My aunt and her husband were killed in Babayntsi, next to Borodyanka. Sergey, he was an ATO veteran, had the palm of the hand cut off. Later was hanged by the leg’s upside down in the house. Djemme (Sergey’s wife, Violeta’s aunt) was shot into the head. The house was burned down with them inside. They were identified by the DNA only. At the moment identity of 4 Russian army Buryat servicemen have been established with their addresses and faces. On top of that also addresses of their relatives.”

The description given by Violeta is horrific on its own. It describes beyond humanly feasible sadism in treating the civilians. This is not just ethnic cleansing; this is unfathomable act of sadism be the enemy just because they arrived to their homeland with conducting systematic genocide in the mind.

Violeta’s description also reveals are the things that are hidden under the human remnants – the fact the bodies had to be burn to the point only DNA can identify them reveals to very sadistic, long, and systematic torture with the intention inflict maximum suffering and humiliation. Rape of Djemme must not ruled out. Can it be determined in post-mortem can be determined only by the specialists. Modern practical criminal investigation does not differ from the archaeological digging and study of human cremation. The hope is the people of this specific atrocity will face the punishment yet all cases are not the same. Destroying evidence is a thing.

The fact the person was hanged upside down and the perpetrators have been ID’d as Buryat hint to possibility they are from reindeer herding families and they are used to butchering reindeer carcases by hanging them by the feet.

This is not a separated incident. There has been many more unpublished which we intend to provide.

What Violeta Dashkova described to take place with her relatives reminded instantly the incident with the taxi driver in Syria who was sadistically beaten to pulp, later dismembered, and on top of that the body set on fire by the Russian army 3rd VDV reconnaissance unit members who made a video on that and spread the pictures of their achievement.

Never before Syrian campaign, not even during the two Chechen Wars burning the bodies to charcoal have been so prominently present in the description of the atrocities. This has to be a new method thanks to the Syrian campaign experience exchange.
