Sergey Volyna’s addressing to the world’s leaders: „ I am a Marine. “
We are publishing the third public address by Sergey Volyna, Commander of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, to world leaders such as Joe Biden, Boris Johnsson, Recep Erdogan, Emmanuel Macron, the Pope and media outlets such as the Washington Post, BBC News, CNN Time, The Independent, New York Post, Reuters UK.
He made an appeal from Azovstal, where due to total and premeditated disregard for the safety of the defenders of Mariupol by the UN and the International Red Cross the Russian army regrouped and took forward positioned positions during the evacuation of civilians, where, in addition, all the civilians of Azovstal had been forcibly taken to FSB filtration camps, regardless of their will or international law prohibiting it, obliging the survivors of the Mariupol genocide by the authority of their international aid organisation.
The situation deteriorated beyond recognition after the failure of international aid organisations to comply with the obligation to ensure safety.
In reality, the situation has become disastrous. Extraction is a wartime procedure agreed and regulated by international law and that all outside parties are indifferent to the implementation of this right or to the actual efforts for positive outcome.
In evacuating from the territory of Azovstal, neither the United Nations nor the International Red Cross took any effort to secure safe evacuation deliberately putting lives of civilians and the lives of the Mariupol defenders who transported them at risk of death, which resulted for the regiment “Azov” as a result of the Russian army’s deliberate negligence of official ceasefire and disregard for the “green corridor” with 3 dead, 8 wounded, 2 of them severely.
Illya Samoyenko, intelligence officer of Regiment “Azov,” made stated today, May 11, where, according to Regiment “Azov,” they no longer doubt that the Russian army might break to the territory of Azovstal.

It was the Marines who taught me how to love Ukraine sincerely!
To love with courage and fearlessly, to love with a weapon in hands and in moments of the greatest danger, to love carefully, bravely and uncompromisingly!
And while my heart is beating, I will feel pure, unconditional and unqualified love for my Motherland.
Motherland is where a son loves his mother, a brother loves his sister, and a father loves his child!
This love has no boundaries!!!
The Marines are my family. These are the defenders of Ukraine who won’t hesitate to sacrifice their lives to the Motherland. These are brothers who always share equally what they have left, give shoulder to lean on and can give a helping hand!
Because we have one love for our mother – Ukraine !!
We are fighting …
If world civilization still has common spiritual values and ideals, if people manage to feel the pain and suffering of others, if a plea for help make us act, then I call on to fight for the Mariupol garrison!
I call on the whole world, I call on everyone to help to launch the “extraction” procedure for the Ukrainian military!
